Google Ads is Testing New Lead Form Ads!

Article Overview
2min ReadIt’s official! Google Ads is now testing a new way for companies to capture customer information directly from the ads itself through a new “lead form extension”.
In the screenshots shared below, you’ll notice how the new ad extension works and stands out on the ad. It’s designed to attract customers with a quick call-to-action, i.e. a special offer, which can only be accessed after filling out the lead form directly on the ad itself.
Advertisers can customize lead forms with a unique title and detailed description, and can show which piece of information they want people to ask for i.e.
- Name.
- Phone Number.
We believe this is a huge step forward when it comes to Google trying to directly compete with Facebook Lead Generation Ads.
Advertisers can even design and upload their own background images for the lead form!
Lastly, once a customer fills out their details you can customize the text that appears afterward, to say e.g. “We’ll contact you within 24hrs”.
This is a new BETA feature from Google and has been introduced to only Google Premier Partners and some select businesses that are eligible. We’ll be reaching out to you shortly to discuss how we can implement this for your ads immediately so you can benefit from this new feature before anyone else.
